Become a Volunteer

Engaging, Connecting and Restoring individuals to people, programs, resources and to the community.

Becoming a Volunteer

All Chilliwack Restorative Justice volunteers must complete a criminal record check with vulnerable sector.

As you can appreciate, the position of trust associated with our programs requires a stringent criminal record check as well as personal and professional reference checks.  These requirements are necessary for the protection of our vulnerable clients.

You can help by volunteering as a facilitator and/or as a mentor.

Facilitators guide the process of our meetings form Resolution Agreements with input from all participants.

A volunteer mentor is assigned to each case to assist the client in fulfilling their Resolution Agreement. Ongoing training is provided to all volunteers.
