Volunteer Prevention Facilitator

If you’re interested in volunteering with children and youth in a group setting, Chilliwack Restorative Justice has an opportunity for you:

Classroom Conversations Circle Facilitator:

Engage elementary school students in social and emotional learning activities and discussions with a RJ facilitator. This is a program that seeks to empower students to create connections, strengthen relationships and build community within their environment. Circles are organized around topics such as communication, responsibility, and emotion management.

Each circle begins with an opening question; followed by an activity that links to the topic of the week; and then followed by debrief. Time permitting, the Facilitator can play a game with the class to get them moving and the circle will finish with a closing question.
